TARRINGTON PARISH COUNCIL (TPC)
MINUTES OF AN EXTRAORDINARY MEETING OF THE PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON MONDAY 18TH DECEMBER 2023 AT 7.30 PM IN LADY EMILY COMMUNITY HALL
Present: Cllrs Gillian Board, Jakki Cunningham, Paul Grey, Robert Hodges, Linzy Outtrim, John Tallis (Chairman), Janette Ward.
In attendance: Paul Hayden (Clerk).

116/23 APOLOGIES

117/23 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST & WRITTEN DISPENSATION REQUESTS
Cllr Grey declared an interest in agenda item 119/23 Planning Consultation 233271 as this is his neighbour. No written dispensations requested.

RESOLVED: These minutes were approved as an accurate record of the meeting and signed by the Chairman.
119/23 PLANNING
Members considered the following Planning Consultation:
Planning Consultation – 233271 – Lane End, Tarrington, Herefordshire HR1 4HZ. Proposed single storey extension including formation of an annexe ancillary to the existing dwelling and detached garage block. Application type – Full Householder.
Prior to their consideration, Members heard a representation from a neighbour who brought to Members attention an existing restrictive covenant relating to her property and the proposed extension, and also a right of way easement. Another neighbour raised a concern about how close the extension will be to the boundary hedge.
Cllr Grey declared an interest and left the room whilst this planning application was discussed.
RESOLVED: The Council are supportive of the application, but request the local planning authority include a condition that the annexe should never become a separate dwelling.
120/23 FINANCE
Members considered the following invoices:
120.1/23 Richard Mills inv. 3678 for hedge trimming Jubilee Green £153.50 plus VAT.
120.2/23 Clerk’s November 2023 salary.
120.3/23 Richard Morgan inv. 1831 for cutting back shrubs Jubilee Green car park £101.25.
120.4/23 Herefordshire Council election recharge £168.23.
RESOLVED: All invoices approved for payment.
120.5/23 Members considered the renewal subscription of £50 for HGN.
RESOLVED: Not to renew subscription.
There being no further business the Chairman closed the meeting at 8.00 pm.
